Summary:

The Clinical Trial Management System Product Specialist III will monitor and work closely with our CTMS product lifecycle, including long and short-term development projects. The Product Specialist III will work closely with our CTMS Product Manager, Software Developers, internal stakeholders, and clients to ensure continuous innovation and an excellent end-user experience. Daily collaboration with product managers, staff assigned to other products, product marketers, and customers to understand user needs and deliver quality user experiences. This position will lead design visualizations, workflows, interactions and collaborate with staff to own the workflow for the CTMS products. Additionally, this position will engage users and build products that will improve and enhance customer experience using the power of UX/UI.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and take ownership of new scopes of work and manage the timely progress of ongoing scopes of work.
  • Improve the product by researching and learning new and innovative capabilities.
  • Lead and influence technical software scopes of work in a Kanban and Agile environment.
  • Oversee assigned projects, following the project from beginning to end, ensuring that projects support the attainment of company/client goals and are completed in a timely, accurate, and quality manner
  • Collaborate, strategize, and training with co-workers, subject matter experts, and developers from conception to delivery of a scope of work.
  • Software validation testing and issue resolution management
  • Identify creative ways to solve UI/UX problems (e.g., usability, findability)
  • Identifying market trends and providing recommended opportunities for improvement
  • Present new product functionality to stakeholders in regular demo sessions with ease and excitement.
  • Maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures regarding the HIPAA Privacy Rule. This role may view protected health information (PHI) as part of daily duties

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in hands-on UI/UX software design
  • 5+ years of testing/training of software enhancements and designs
  • Experience managing multiple projects – work prioritization, planning, and execution
  • Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and management skills
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced climate
  • Outstanding time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Experience with user workflows, interfaces, design interactions, and overall experiences via mockups, diagrams, and prototypes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with agile software development methodologies
  • 5+ years UI/UX design experience on web and mobile platforms (iOS/Android)
  • 3+ years of experience within the clinical research industry or medical field
  • Bachelors degree in business administration or information technology fields or a design degree

The Customer Success Specialist works closely with our valuable clients and provides world-class customer experiences at every touchpoint. In addition to providing amazing customer service, employee tasks include, training new and existing customers, username and password management, verifying user privileges, and providing assistance with navigation of our systems as well as troubleshooting customer concerns. The Success team provides support by communicating technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner. Specialists will also perform other customer support-related duties as required.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Represent RTSS in a professional and courteous manner (verbal, written, and in appearance) when interacting with RTSS staff, customers, contractors, and third-party vendors.
  • Understand all policies, procedures, guidelines, and training progress
  • Schedule and Provide new and existing Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) training to customers
  • Provide both timely and best-in-class customer service and technical support for current and prospective customers..
  • Conduct site system reviews and offer customers tips and suggestions on how to better and more fully utilize the features within Realtime’s software solution.
  • Educate customers on additional RealTime Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) product features available
  • Respond to customer emails in a timely manner regarding Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) or training questions, concerns, or issues.
  • Answer customer phone calls and assist with questions or issues they are experiencing. Create tickets and escalate issues to our Development team for further research and resolution.
  • Share best practices and contribute ideas on ways to resolve problems. Improve processes and procedures to better serve the customer and/or improve productivity.
  • Solve problems that are sometimes unstructured and that may require reliance on conceptual thinking.
  • Document all customer contacts and support encounters within the RTMS system.
  • Create mock-ups of customized customer reports, training, and videos
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures regarding the HIPAA Privacy Rule. This role may view protected health information (PHI) as part of daily duties.
  • Ability to up-sell

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of Customer Service experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Demonstrated customer focus by investigating and taking action to meet customers’ current needs
  • High School diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience within the medical or clinical research industry
  • 6 months of training experience
  • 1-year sales experience

RealTime is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to spearhead web and mobile-based application development primarily using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (including React). In this role you will be helping to execute and propel the evolution of some of the industry leading software systems we build. Additionally, you will partner with business owners, lead developer, and the broader RealTime team to define/enhance solutions in order to meet business and customer needs as well as performance, operational and security requirements.

In this role you will:

  • Analyze complex development requirements and propose solutions
  • Communicate frequently with external stakeholders and product owners
  • Collaborate with developers on code reviews and process enhancements
  • Respond and manage internally and externally sourced bug/defect reports
  • Complete technical designs where necessary
  • Oversee integration, QA and deployments
  • Implement strategies to detect and mitigate security issues
  • Continually develop skills, knowledge, and abilities to maintain currency with new developments in data architecture, data integrations, data transformation, APIs, and data management.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of web fundamentals: HTML and CSS
  • 5+ years professional experience with PHP
  • Experience building interfaces utilizing JavaScript, jQuery and modern libraries like React
  • Experience working with MVC frameworks
  • 5+ years professional experience with MySQL
  • Well-versed with Linux and strong command line knowledge
  • Superb understanding of Git and source control management
